On October 4th, 2011 Michele Millette, from New England Wire Technologies of Lisbon, NH made a donation to Brittany DeWitt and Richard Larcom from Above the Notch Humane Society. New England Wire Technologies allows its employees have quarterly fund raising activities where they donate the proceeds to local charities.

For the 3rd Quarter of 2011 Michele Millette chose ATNHS. Michele, along with Bette Liveston and Tracey Johnson organized the fund raising events. The events (all of which were done in the Mill) were casual Fridays (where employees could wear jeans); selling subs, chips and a drink that were delivered to people; a 50/50 raffle, a super 50/50 raffle; bulldogging with balloons (one person ordered all 150 balloons); a monthly calendar; and a silent auction. These events raised $4057.00 and collected donated items; such as peanut butter, dog beds, wet and dry dog food, dog dishes, dog treats (milk bones and Vienna sausages), cat treats, dog beds, and other miscellaneous toys adding an additional $200.00. The total donation was $4257.00.

ATNHS is a non-profit, no-kill Humane Society servicing the Lisbon, Littleton, Bethlehem, Franconia, Sugar Hill, and Easton and are a 501(c)3 charitable organization. They receive no federal, state or local money and rely completely on donations and by fundraising. At a cost of nearly $4000 per dog per year to feed, groom and to provide veterinary services New England Wire Technologies helped ATNHS continue its mission and not turn away dogs in need.
